Which Mitzvah of the 613 Mitzvohs, do we try to refrain from doing the entire month of Iyar?

?
The Rema (Even Hoezer 126 :2nd6 or 7 in new prints ) writes, “we try to refrain from writing
Gittin, the entire month of Iyar.”
The reason behind it, is, there is a Machlokes How to spell Iyar (1 Yud or 2).  If there is
a danger of Igun then we do write it with 2 Yuds.

R, Akiva Eiger zt”l writes in the Hagohos “The Nachlas Shiva quotes a Yalkut
אברהם יצחק יעקב רחל  The Roshei Tavais spell Iyar (2 Yuds) and that is the סוד המרכבה .”

The possible explanation for the first part is, The Gemoro Rosh Hashana 11a says
Chodesh Ziv is the month of Iyar. The reason it is called Ziv , the Avos were born in
Nissan. The month of Ziv (Iyar) all the Avos were born already. (see Rashi)

The סוד המרכבה, I will not reveal for two reasons a) אין דורשין- ובמרכבה באחד (Chagiga P2 M1)
b) I have no clue what  סוד המרכבה is. *

*once you have reason b), then a) is not necessary

מקדש השבת וישראל והזמנים

Daf Hashavua

Beitzah 17a.

The Mekor Baruch* writes," Rosh Hashana we end the Bracha with Mekadesh Yisroel Veyom Hazikaron   and on Yom Kippur we end the Bracha Veyom Hakipurim. In both cases we specify the name of the Yom Tov.
Whereas by the Sholosh Regolim we end the Bracha with Vehazmanim instead of being specific to end with the name of the Yom Tov (Mekadesh Yisroel Vechag Haposach etc.)
A second problem is, It would have been more appropriate to say Umoadim, the Loshon in the Torah, instead of Veshazmanim.

The Mekor Baruch suggests, when the Gemoro says to end the Bracha with Vehazemanim the Gemoro didn't mean to end the Bracha with the word VeHzmanim.

The Gomoro meant to fill in the blank. Each Yom Tov you need to specify the name of the Yom Tov. (Mekadesh Yisroel Vechag Haposach, Vechag Hashovuos, Vechag Hasukos .)

He writes he told this to his father (The Aruch Hashulchan) who agreed that it makes sense. The Aruch Hashulchan said, even though it sounds true, since Klall Yisroel learned Pshat in the Gemoro, the word Vehazmanim is the actual word to say and Klall Yisroel has been doing so for the past thousand years, therefore we can’t change the Nusach.

The Raisin Shailo -Beitza 4b

Daf Hashavua
Beitzah 4b
In Pozen the Minhag was, not to eat raisins (dried fruit) on Pesach except for the last day (Achron Shel Pesach) Reb Akiva Eiger asked his son in law the Chasam Sofer,What would  the Din be, Achron Shel Pesach falls on Shabbos. Would it be permitted to cook on Sheviei Shel Pesach (using the raisins), for the following day?

The reason an Eiruv Tavshilin allows you to cook for the following day, is because unexpected guest might show up on that day, and you will actually  end up cooking for that day (הואיל )

Reb Akiva Eiger  held it would be O.K. to cook with the raisins  on Sheveei Shel Pesach for the following day even though you can’t serve it to the guest,  since you might have a Choleh She’ein Bo Sakana , which is quite common . They are permitted to eat raisins on Pesach. Therefore the principle of  הואיל applies and you may cook with the raisins for the following day (Shabbos).

The Chasam Sofer argues and holds that you may not cook with the raisins. His argument is, it is true that to have a Choleh She’ein Bo Sakana is common , however to have a Choleh that needs to eat raisins is not common and therefore we cannot use the principle of  הואיל .

Chalas Oni For Shabbos

Everybody heard of Schlissel Challa. Has anyone heard of Four Corner Challa or Challas Oni ?

The Mogen Avraham (O.Ch.430) writes," the Reshal used to darshen that everybody should bake a Challah (before Pesach) using the Pesachdike flour, so if there was any  Chometz in the flour,we will assume that the Chometz was baked in the Challah and eaten. It is also a good thing to give this Challah to an Oni (poor man)
The Noheg Katzon Yosef quotes the Rosh “The Minhag on Erev Shabbos Hagodol  is to bake
Challahs Oni from the whole Kehilla and distribute it to the Aniyim. From the time this
Minhag was  neglected, a curse was sent on the grain.”

The Kol Bo (52) writes,"there is a minhag for women to bake on Shavuos
a long bread with four corners (points) lezecher the Shtei Halechem

(looks like 2 breads) or because  Mazal Sivan is Teomim (twins)"
