1)When should one light eight Chanukah candles, every single night
of the eight days Chanukah?
Someone who started on the first day with eight candles, should
continue all nights of Chanukah to light eight candles.
[because of the Halacha of אין מורידין ](ב"ה )
If someone was terminally ill ח"ו and doctors gave him only one
day to live, should light eight candles on the first day [ he won’t
be able to be Mekayam מעלין בקודש so he might as well do like ב"ש ]
If he ends up living more than that one day he must continue to
light eight candles every night.

3)Two
Shemen Zayis oils, both are of equal burning
quality. Both
oils are equal status. (ie. not one is orlah etc. and
the other is not)
One
is inedible (bitter) the other is edible.
When
would you have to light the bitter oil ?
The Ben Ish Chai (Parshas Vayeishev) writes :
Food
that was stored under a bed where someone slept
acquires a Ruach Hatumah Edible oil that
was stored under bed should not be used for
Chanukah. Inedible oil being it is not a food, when
stored under the bed no Ruach Hatumah has
been acquired and therefore may be used for
Chanuka
