his father's Minhag he should
follow the opposing
Minhag, when performing this
Mitzvah. ?

zt"l holds that a Bochur who becomes Bar
Mitzvah on Sunday ( חנוכה מוצש"ק)
should do the first Hadlakas Ner Chanukah as a Gadol before Havdalah even if his
father's Minhag is to do Havdalah first.
Since he was a Katan on Shabbos he has
no Chiyuv Havdalah. His only Chiyuv (as a
Gadol) is Hadlakas Ner Chanukah
