Remember

Zechor -remember                 זכר

to pronounce Zecher              זכר 

or pronounce Zaicher         או זכר

and not Zochor                  ולא זכר

The Minhag on Parshas Zachor, is to read it twice, 

Zecher and  Zaicher.

The Ma'aseh Rav (134) writes The Gra originally

read "Zaicher". Later in life he changed

his mind and read Zecher..

It seems, that the Gra didn't read it twice
